ACoP14

Welcome to ACoP

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Planning Committee, I cordially invite you to attend the Fourteenth American Conference on Pharmacometrics (ACoP14) to be hosted from November 5-8, 2023 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, USA.

The theme of ACoP14 is “Innovation & Diversity: Redefining Pharmacometrics”. This theme was inspired by the extraordinary advancement made in the field of Pharmacometrics (PMX), the diverse and successful applications of PMX in countless therapeutic areas, and its multidisciplinary approaches to support drug discovery and development that yield shared decision making between individuals with different expertise. Our theme aligns with ISoP’s vision to promote and advance the discipline of PMX and broaden its impact. It also embraces the pillars of our 5-year strategic plan: Scientific Expertise and Innovation, Influence, Education, Tools and Resources, and Internationalization.

ACoP14 will feature numerous original scientific sessions, poster presentations, ACoP and ISoP awards, events hosted by special interest groups, dedicated activities for students and trainees, various tutorials, vendor-sponsored workshops, as well as ample opportunities for networking and socializing. Here are some key dates:

We have been very fortunate this year to receive an outstanding number of scientific submissions including 49 proposals for symposia and tutorials, in addition to 10 proposals for roller coasters. Our Scientific Programming Committee, chaired by Dr. Eric Sobie, PhD, is currently evaluating all submissions. Notifications will be sent by email in May. Stay tuned!

Our Social Committee, co-chaired by Janelle Lennie & Sonoko Kawakatsu is very excited to introduce the Buddy System! Basically, returning ACoP attendees will be paired with new attendees, matched by interest, with fun activities to do together. The paired buddies may attend many activities together such as the special "Buddy Breakfast" or a “Scientific Session” and discuss their thoughts afterwards. They can also meet each other's networks or talk about their favorite things. We hope you will all opt-in to the Buddy System! Further details to follow.

We will post regular updates on this webpage and on our ISoP App to keep you informed. Please stop back periodically.

I look forward to seeing you at ACoP14!

Sincerely,

Sihem Bihorel, MSc, PharmD, PhD
ACoP14 Conference Chair
