ACoP11 - What To Expect

We recognize ACoP11 may be the first "virtual" conference for some...its a first for ACoP too!!! There may be questions related to the virtual meeting format and what to expect. Rest assured we will be answering any questions you may have. An AMA [ask me anything] session was recently hosted (see recording here). We have designed this year’s ACoP11 virtual program to deliver exciting and valuable content and to encourage connection among attendees.

Some highlights of the virtual platform:

• Attend programming sessions in a Zoom-like setting to hear a variety of presentations and panel discussions
• Ask questions to presenters live at the conclusion of the sessions
• Send instant messages or request a private 1:1 or group Zoom video call
• Attend dedicated poster hours where you can interact live with the author(s)
• Participate in chat forums for sessions, posters, and exhibitors throughout the conference
• Visit the Attendees page to connect with your colleagues and friends
• View other attendee's profiles and learn more about your peers, and you can also create a list of people you'd like to meet
• Create a “My Agenda” schedule with the sessions you plan to attend. You can even export this to your own calendar
• Watch later… or again! All sessions will be recorded and viewable on demand via the platform through January 15, 2021

After registering for the conference, you will receive an email invitation to sign in on the conference virtual platform. You will have the ability to add your profile information such as a headshot picture, personal and company descriptions, and privacy settings for who can view your information.

Beginning on November 2, 2020, the virtual site will open to give a sneak peek of what is to come. You will be able to view posters, take a virtual walk through the exhibit hall to see who will be exhibiting, and familiarize yourself with all of the features the virtual platform offers.

Starting on November 9, 2020 the conference begins with a day-long pre-conference track “The Rising Role of Modeling in Oncology- From Translation to Confirmation”. During each of the presentations, you will have the ability to ask questions live via a “Chat” window. At the conclusion of each session, the presenters will address live any questions that have come in. As a reminder, if you register before the Early Bird deadline of October 19, 2020, the Pre-Conference track is included in your registration fees.
