The ISoP Leadership Award

The ISoP Leadership Award has been established to acknowledge individuals whose leadership contributions have advanced the field of pharmacometrics.


The goal of the Leadership Award is to recognize outstanding sustained leadership, mentorship, and outreach contributions (5+ years) to the field of pharmacometrics and to the development of the strategic vision for the future direction of the field and its application of the circle of excellence Integration–Innovation–Impact (JCP 2010;50:S6-S160) to enhance research, development, regulatory evaluation and/or utilization of therapeutic products.   The winner of the Leadership Award will have made major long term contributions that enabled the growth of opportunities that have substantially advanced and broadened the visibility, connectivity, application, and impact of pharmacometrics. 


The candidate must be an investigator or leader who is actively advancing the scientific discipline of pharmacometrics and/or its impact on research, development, regulatory evaluation, or utilization of therapeutic products. 

Nomination Process

Nominations for the Leadership Award will be solicited on the ACoP and ISoP websites and through announcements distributed to various pharmacometrics organizations.   Nominations are to be submitted with up to 3 supportive documents (CV, papers) attached.  Winners will be selected by the ISoP Awards Committee consisting of pharmacometricians from academic institutions, regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical industry.

Prize and Presentation

The Leadership Award will be presented at ACoP meetings. The recipient will be recognized during the meeting, will receive a plaque and provide an acceptance speech.   The ACoP meeting registration fee for the winner will be reimbursed by ISoP.
