Message from the ISoP President - Brenda Cirincione

Dear Colleague,

The ISoP Board of Directors has been evaluating a range of options on how to proceed with the ACoP11 scientific meeting this October in light of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. After lengthy discussions amongst ourselves and with the venue, it has become clear that holding an in-person meeting safely is likely to be impossible.

We have therefore taken the decision to cancel the in-person meeting and transition to a virtual conference. This decision was not easy. ACoP is a highlight of the annual pharmacometric calendar, a forum that we all use to learn new things, catch our breath, and catch up with friends and colleagues. We want to thank everyone for bearing with us - negotiations with the venue by our legal team took time and, by their nature, prevented an announcement before now. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

The ACoP11 planning team, which has been working tirelessly to develop a scientific program that meets the high standard set by previous ACoP events, deserves particular recognition for their efforts so far - we look forward to seeing the fruits of their labors, and yours, unfold virtually. Further details on the virtual meeting will be provided in the coming weeks - please keep an eye on this website for updates. We will be reaching out with specific communications to Speakers, Abstracts Presenters, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Workshop organizers with further information and options.

At this time, no further registrations for the in-person meeting are being accepted and we will shortly begin the process of refunding any registration fees that have been paid for the in-person meeting. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Thank you all once again for your patience and understanding, and we hope that we’ll all be able to see one another again in person at ACoP12 next year!

Best Wishes,

Brenda Cirincione, PhD
