Preliminary Program

We received an enthusiastic response to our call for programming proposals: 35 proposed sessions. Thanks to all who submitted proposals, and special thanks to members of the programming committee: Parvis Ghahramani, Diane Mould, Michael Neely, Chee Ng, Paolo Vicini.

ACoP 2011 Programming Committee Co-Chairs Marc Gastonguay & Raymond Miller

The programming committee has thoughtfully reviewed the submissions, and a preliminary program for ACoP 2011 has been defined.  This year's program includes a strong focus on therapeutic-area specific pharmacometric applications, and several other topics of interest.

Preliminary Program Topics:

  • Using Model-Based Meta-Analysis to Inform Drug Development Decisions (Tutorial)
  • Pharmacometrics in Pregnancy: Quantifying Maternal/Fetal Pharmacology
  • Mechanism-Based Pharmacodynamic Modeling in Oncology
  • Modeling and Simulation in Neurodegenerative Diseases
  • Heart Failure: Pathophysiology and Quantitative Modeling
  • Vertical Integration of Systems Pharmacology and Multiscale Models
  • Impact of Pharmacometrics in Patient Care

In addition, we've planned a poster/podium session for top contributed abstracts, the Lewis B. Sheiner Memorial Lecture, a special session for trainee works in progress, and a unique keynote speaker.
