On behalf of the planning committee, we are excited to extend a special invitation to you to attend the 2013 American Conference on Pharmacometrics, to be held in sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida, May 12th – 15th. This program promises to meet the exemplary educational and networking standards that are a hallmark of our new and growing organization.
The meeting will take place at the Harbor Beach Fort Lauderdale Marriott Resort & Spa, which offers beautiful accommodations, a relaxing beachfront location, and state-of-the-art meeting space for our lectures and exhibits.
Our Program Chairs, Drs. Brian Corrigan and Parviz Ghahramani, have arranged for an extraordinary group of lecturers from around the world, brought together to highlight the latest research and techniques in Pharmacometrics. Program highlights include lectures from great speakers on physiological based modeling, systems pharmacology, adaptive trial design, as well as therapeutically aligned presentations.
For the first time at ACoP, we have introduced concurrent sessions, so that you will be able to tailor your day to your specific needs and interests. Also new this year is a free "Tutorials" session, where you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and approaches to pharmacometric data analysis. In addition, we will have a state-of-the-art lecture from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), highlighting techniques for handling models with "big data" to forecast storms such as Superstorm Sandy.
We are only a few months away, and so we encourage you to make your plans NOW to join us for this important event. In particular, there are a number of activities that have a limited capacity and will be filled on a first-come basis, including incredible pre- and post-meeting workshops, a dynamic roundtable and open forum, and our exciting new tutorials.
We look forward to seeing you in Fort Lauderdale!
